Hi I am wondering: What is the best place (online) that sells minis? I like Games Workshop, but their prices are kinda outrageous! Are there any places that sell them cheaper than GW, but are still reputable?

Yeah! |

http://www.wargamerscave.com/ is also awesome. 25% off if you spend $50 and $6 flat rate shipping. They have a more limited selection of game ranges, but they are awesome for 40k merchandise.

Us Aussies buy from Maelstrom.com which is a UK seller with free shipping (Anything over $25 I think). Since this stuff comes from the UK you might want to check it out. However the guys above may be on to something good.
I save about 40% but our GW stores are extremely expensive.

^ Anything over £10.
From what I've heard the Warstore is the best if you're in the US.

^What he said.
If you have a good local store, ask them what sort of discount they would give you on a large order. My FLGS is happy to give a discount if you place a $200+ order, and since I have been a loyal customer for years, they don't ask me for pre-payment. (It is situational. They have been burned in the past by people placing large orders, who then never come in to pick it up.)
If you don't have a good local store, the internet is your friend indeed.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

I do have a FLGS but it's slightly out of the way, like half an hour. I will try some of those websites

Agreed, thewarstore is great.
Only drawback with US online stores is GW forbids using a "shopping cart" sales format. You have to telephone or email your order to them. This goes for all online retailers in the US. Only place in the US to do a fully online transaction for GW is ebay.
Since OP is in the US I would caution against using UK or other foreign sellers unless he wants a long wait. A call or email to thewarstore.com will ahve you your stuff in a week or less, depending on how far from NY you are.
Orders coming form UK or Europe in general will be around 3 weeks, unless you pay a huge amount for express shipping. I only use foreign companies for things not available in the US, or to US retails.
