I joined dakka to get help in the making of this game, it simply is something for me and my friends to have a bit of fun doing with a bunch of halo mega bloks kits which we have no other use for.
but before we start i need some rules and i hope this is the place to get some help making them. Its going to be a skirmish game and i have also decided it will use action points but unfortunately i have very little experience in skirmish games (just 2 games of maulifaux) so i hope to get some help. also if you come up with some stats for a unit please make it one thats available in mega bloks as i cant model to save my life.

Lets say we have a unit with a speed of 3 (this is probably going to be the basic speed).

You may only take two movement actions a turn.
Its walk distance would be 3 inches (its speed in inches) this would cost 1 action point and can be done twice a turn for each unit.
Its run distance would be 5 inches (its speed skill in inches with a +2 modifier) it would cost two action points and can be done twice but if used twice you may not make any close quarters attacks.
Its flee distance would be its 3 inches +
D6 to towards the nearest friendly unit. this movement may only be taken if a panic has being failed and if taken no other movement can be made.
