As per what you all said the last one had its grass too tall for the model which made it not look nice! So I cut it down as per your suggestions!
Paint job is not my best but snikrot was a weird model for me.

Nice idea with the long grass, but the grass doesn't look convincing at all really, it wouldn't sweep around the bottom like that, the bushles would be all different thicknesses, and that bit at the back which is much taller looks out of place.
I would say that you should remove the grass and add it around the back, as if it is enclosing him, about 3/4 rounfd the base, like he is pushing through the bushles.

I agree with valkyrie, the grass isn't too convincing.

Don't go in the (unconvincing) tall grass.

Were we just looking at the grass? I'd almost recommend stripping the model and repainting it if you weren't the orginal painter. If you were, dont fret! Just keep practicing painting and you'll come across something marvelous.
The grass looks like long paintbrush bristles wrapped around. I think a sneaky grass snikrot could be cool if it had proper time spent on it.

With Google Images, you can search up anything to get an idea how something should work.
Grass tends to move away from you, not cover and strangle you, unless you're rolling in it.
