I played game tonight against my brother. This is my first battle report so please comment.
he is starting ork player with little experience ( this was hes about 3rd game) and bad lists, so i gave him a chanse to win by playing with my not so succesful DA army so here it goes:

My list

Belial, TH/SS

DW squad, deathwing banner, apothecary, 1 LC, 4 TH/SS
DW squad, 1 LC, 4 TH/SS
DW squad, cyclone missile launcher, sergeant with chainfist

venerable dreadnought, heavy flamer

LRC
vindicator
vindicator

His list:

Ghazghkull thraka
weird boy, warp head

10 tankbustas, 3 tankhammers
10 burna boys, 3 meks
10 kommandos, 2 burna, snikrot

15 boyz, nob with 'eavy armour and big choppa
12 'ard boyz, nob with big choppa, trukk, boarding plank, red paint job

3 deffkoptas, twin-rokkits
5 warbikers, nob with big choppa

3 killa kans, skorchas

Mission: annihilation
Deployment: Pitched battle

Deployment:
DA: I deployed my force with 'shooty' terminators and belial and command terminators in LRC in my left and dread and other terminators right and my vindicators in the middle
orks: Kans and bikers in his right and his bustas, burnas and weirs boy with 15 buyz in middle and 'ard boyz trukk in the far left. Kommandos with Ghazhkull staying in reseve.

I won the roll-off and chose to go first

Turn 1

DA: I moved everyting forward and all my vehicles expect one vindicator popped smokes. My 'shooty' termies killed 3 bikers and wounded nob, vindicator was out range.

orks: everything moved closer to my lines (what a suprise ) and shooting killed 1 terminator serg from my 'shooty' termies and destroyed my LRCs assault cannon. and still no assaults

Turn 2

DA: Belial disembarked and was ready to assault nearby bikers, rest of my army approached expect my vindicator that moved straight left. My shooting started promisingly with my Land raider shooting one kan and vindicators destroyed trukk and 3 boyz with explosion, rest of my army ran. In assault belial and his terminators destroyed the bikers with ease. yeay and consolitaded safe.

Orks: orks ( again suprise suprise ) moved everyting forward with one deffkopta taking wound in dangerous terrain test. Shooting from 'ard boyz killed my assault terminator sergeant ( two saves two s ) and destroyed my terminators closecombat weapon. kans assaulted land raider, tearing it apart and 'ard boyz charged assault termies and lost but stayed in a fight. And burnas assaulted belial and killed one termie but lost the fight but still stayed in fight.

Turn 3

DA: My terminators advanced, vindicator searched better firing position and dread went for 'ard boyz. Shooting did nothing ( thanks to some bad scatters ), 'shooty termies assaulted kans and dread 'ard boyz. Termies exploded one kan and it killed one burna and finished wounded deffkopta. belial and termies wiped burnas with no losses. And after long and brutal battle there was only 2 termies 6 boyz, nob and dread standing and orks lost, but still stayed in a fight

Orks: Turn started with Kommandos led my mighty profit of da waaagh! arriving right next to Belial and his termies ( clash of the titans here we go) Boyz led by warphead closed my termies and dread ( while weird boy only done some warpath, he even rerolled it but still got it ) But this time it was going to be useful as boyz were starting to be near my termies... Tankbustas shot belial doing no damage. But then the real fun begun as Kommandos charged belial and his termies and weirdboy and his loyal boyz joined the battle to help their fellow 'ard boyz. batlle between kommandos and termies was..well.. how can i say this.. a suprise?.. lots of kommandos died and termies took no damage at all but they stayed at the fight. My termies finished last kan and consolitated ready to help their master against some sneaky kommandos. My dread assault termies were cut apart. ouch!

Turn 4

DA: vindicators opened fire killing 15 boyz and 2 deffkoptas. other termies joined the battle to aid their master.. and so they did only thing that survived were snikrot and 1 kommando with no terminators dying, but they STILL stayed in the fight.

Orks: Tankbustas were wandering around without targets and rest of the boyz charged vindicator, Weird boy teleported around with 'ere we go . Rest of the kommandos were well.. lets just they didnt survive.. and vindicator wrecked.

Turn 5

DA: Last windicator killed weirdboy and termies assaulted tankbustas and wiped them...

Orks: well... nothing

And then we rolled would the game continue and it was.... a 2 and game ended with orks having 4 KP and me 10 KP
OMGOMGOMG i won!!! this is so awesome I actually won a game
so please tell me what think and remember this was my first battle report so.. well just guess what that means

I see only one semi-ok choice in the ork list, thraka who is too expensive at this point level.

Yeah his list wasn't that good he shold get rid of Gaz and warp boy and add a warboss with powerklaw eavy armor cybork body and a big mek with kustom force feild for starters to improve this list

Grots w/ runtherd - 40

Taktikal Advice: the warboss and the 5 man unit of nob bikers rush toasted the enemy alongside the 6 man unit of nob bikers. The trukk boyz zoom around the map to hold an objective last turn, while the grots hide back and hold a local objective. The jobs should table most armies though so yeah. Double deathstar at 1000 points is a great build.

Nice report, the match-up reminds me of something

The ork player should rethink his troop choices. Right now they are too fragile and to win assaults and games he has to put them into the heat of the battle.

What happened to Ghazghkull?

My 'shooty' termies well... destroyed him.

It was good report! Still you could tell about your terrain. Why Gazgull outflanked with kommandos? I think its not possible.

You are correct, although I think he was getting a bad enough beating as it is.
