Alright so ive had this idea for awhile and even have made games with this idea but after play testing it over and over i finally found a way to play it with the rpg feel but it also be fast past skirmish.
In the game you pick a race
Either it be
Ratmen
High Elves
Dark Elves
Wild Elves
Orcs
Minotaurs
Humans
Dwarfs
for now if the game goes good then ill do expansions with other races.
Each races will have classes that the player would like to choose from. most races have a certain class there made for but you can always do what ever you want ( say you might want an orc shaman but there main class is warrior, but it doesn't matter what you pick just pick one that fits what you like.)
each race has there own bonuses and minuses to a certain characteristic such a ratman is a fast little thing so his agility is pretty high starting off but if you ever walked in a room and a mouse was on the ground they run away as soon as you walk in so there courage is kinda low.
Also each race has there own abilities such as the rat man can climb things with out rolling a test unless its a most for a quest.
I did however get the characteristics and a little bit of game play from dark heresy, i did love from dark heresy the 2D10s and rolling under your stat and the armor thing so i wanted to use that but since my game is a non profit game with no selling or anything i don't think it would be bad to them.
Game play
Is pretty basic you'll just need your main hero and 5 other models from your race which are basically your body guards
before the game starts you and your opponent rolls a dice each to see what quest you get, the other players will be different from yours and you basically you do your quest, of course when you complete them you get xp and a reward of some kind but also you might want to kill the other team if you can because they give alot of xp to. while playing to you can search buildings for items that can help your team, such as weapons and other things.
as you level up you will gain new attacks, spells, things to let you use different types of armor and weapons and alot more.
There is anther thing you can do with other players called Quest mode/ or dungeons
In which you only use your hero with your team mate and you do a dungeon likes world of war-craft, i found a awesome way to make npc in the miniature game so no need for someone to play the badguys unless someone wants to.
