flgs on saturday. No pics, didnt have a camera with me at the time.

Scenario: Annihilation
Deployment: Dawn of War
Table setup: 4 ruins in a square in the center of table, small ruins scattered around the square.
Turn 1: I won the roll, chose to go second.
His turn: He deployed both troop units in buildings and the
DP between the two troops and outside the city square. No movement after deploying.
My turn: Got the chosen half of my army for first strike - Fateweaver, Soul Grinder, both Horrors, Flamers. Grinder tries to drop in on his left flank, scatters into impassable, and disappears into the Warp

Flamers drop in about 14 inches from one of his troops, outside the city square. Fate drops in the middle of the square, right where I wanted him. One squad of horrors drops 8 inches behind Fate, further than I wanted, and the second squad w/ changeling drops out near the Flamers. (nothing is close enough for Fates rerolls, yet I know I need to shoot and start chewing away at his marines asap. losing the grinder HURT) Fate shoots at both troops and the
DP, kills one marine in each and flubs the Bolt at the
DP. Flamers shoot Bolt at one squad, flub. Both horrors shoot at the troop that the flamers shot at, one unit cant make the shot due to Night fighting, the other makes all cover saves.
Turn 2:
His turn: He gets his devestators, bikers, and one unit of Oblits from reserves. Oblits
DS over by the flamers, end up about 22 inches away.Bikers and
Devs both walk in in a double line, heading straight for the city square.
DP moves a couple inches to get
LOS at Fate. Both troops remain where they are in the ruins, enjoying their cover saves.
Dp shoots doombolt at Fate, does nothing. Oblits pass the changelings glamour, shoot
PC at the changeling squad of horrors, kill one. Troops shoot everything at Fate, fail to wound. He realises he brought in the devestators so that his
LCs dont have
LOS at Fate, kicks himself a bit. Bikers shoot at Fate also, fail to wound.
My turn: I fail all my reserve rolls

Both sqauds of horrors move to within Fates reroll area. Flamers move to template range of one of his troop squads, also within 6" of Fate. Fate moves slightly to the side, edging away from
LOS of his
LC units. Flamers toast one troop, killing 4. Fate tries Bolt against the
DP again, fails to hit, repeat, fails again, kills one more marine from the second troop. Horror squad with changeling shoots all but the seargent to death in the first troop. Second horror squad fails to would any of the second troop.
Turn 3:
His turn: Vindicator shows up, rolling in behind his double line of bikers and devestators. Its off to the side slightly, and just out of range of Fate. Oblits move to within assault range of the Flamers, bikers move to just out of assault range of Fate. His
DP moves in finally, but stops short of assault range. Everything but the Oblits shoots at Fate, resulting in.....one wound taken. He passes his leadership. My opponent is having a mild fit over Fate at this point. The oblits shoot
TL Flamers at my flamers (shouldnt they be immune to fire?) then assaults. Flamers lose one to the fire, and another to assault, but hold.
My turn: I get my daemonettes, the bloodletters and one unit of plaguebearers, and the flesh hounds. Daemonettes come in on his far flank, aiming to assault the devestators next turn, but scatter 8" further away. Plague come in off my Icon, right in front of Fate and blocking any assault on him. They run to form a wall between Fate and the oncoming bikers. Hounds come in off the Icon also, and move to be in assault range of the second squad of marines. Bloodletters come in off the icon, behind the hounds. Daemonettes run 3". Both horror squads shoots at the bikers, kill two. Fate finally kills the
DP, flubs the shots at the last marine in the first troop and flubs all shots at the second troop. Assault kills off the last flamer, oblits consolidate towards Fate.
Turn 4:
His turn: He gets his second squad of Oblits finally,
DS them on my right flank opposite the other unit. Bikers stay where they are, Vindie moves forward 6" to get in range. Devestators shoot everything at the daemonettes, kill 6. Vindie shoots into the mess in the center of the board, scatters far enough that he only kills one horror. Troops shoot at second horror squad, kill one. Bikers shoot at plaguebearers, fail to wound. Both Oblits shoot at Fate, cause a second wound. He makes his
LD check. Remaining marines in second troop shoot at hounds, kill 1. First unit of Oblits assaults Fate, takes a wound and causes none. Bikers assault the plaguebearers, cause a wound but take 2, make their save. Sergeant from first troop assaults Fate, does nothing.
My turn: I finally get in my screamers, but not the last squad of plaguebearers. Screamers come in 14 inches from the Vindie, off to the side and slightly behind it. Daemonettes move and run towards the
dev squad. Screamers run toward the Vindie. Horrors both move closer to Fate. Hounds and Bloodletters move towards the second troop of marines. Both horror squads shoot at the second unit of Oblits, cause 1 wound. Assault has Fate kill the lone sergeant, but remain locked in combat with the Oblits. Bikers and plaguebearers both fail to wound. Hounds assault the troop, get wiped out (I need to run these with at least 10). Daemonettes assault the
Dev squad, kill 6 and are wiped out in return. Bloodletters are too far for assault.
Turn 5:
His turn: Second unit of Oblits moves a bit closer. The Vindie backs off a bit, shoots at the Icon horror squad, scatters onto Fate. No wounds. Oblits shoot at Icon horror squad, no wounds.
Dev squad shoot at the screamers, killing 2. Fate finally kills one of the Oblits beating on him.
My turn: I finally get in the last squad of plaguebearers. They come in off the icon, next to the melee around Fate. they move to near the bikers and other plaguebearers. Screamer flies to right next to the Vindie. Bloodletters move to assault range of the remaining troop squad. Both horror units shoot at the second Oblit unit, killing one. Bloodletters assault the remaining troop, kill all but 4. They make their save. Fate causes a wound on the Oblit hitting him. Screamer assaults the Vindie, fails to pen

Bikers are reduced to one man, make his save.
Game continues.
turn 6:
His turn:
Devs move to bring guns to bear on the bloodletters, expecting them to get free this turn. They fire passing shots at the last screamer, kill him. Vindie shoots at the Horrors again, scatters clear. Oblit shoots at horrors, fails to wound. Fate and Oblit remain locked, no wounds. Bloodletters wipe away the last of his troop.
My turn: Bloodletters move to be ready to assault the
Dev squad. Horrors all shoot at Oblits, cause another wound.
PB units finally kill the last biker, consolidate toward the last Oblit squad. Fate and the Oblit remain locked again, no wounds.
Game ended here. We decided it was a draw, I had lost my grinder, flamers, screamers, daemonettes, and everything else was hurting. He had lost both his troops, most of his
Devs, 2 of 4 Oblits, his bikers and his
DP. We both could see his oblits being killed next round, and probably the
Devs also unless he could shoot them to death. And I still had Bolts to throw at his vindicator.
