Okay, I know that OLd Crow have some delays, but I have placed and order and I have the images of the raw models, Once I get them, I will post pics of the process and what "tweaks" to the models I do, (Drilling barrels, Magnets, etc.) and of course the painting/decal work on them.

Here are the models, Claymores, good as Chimera alternates.

The Dragoon Halftrack as a Salamander/Stormtrooper transport, looks like it can only handle a few guys in it as opposed to the Chimera

Lancer as a upgraded Chimera, I'll add the extra points for the twinlinked and any extra weapons, but it looks too cool to pass up!

And finally, the Sabre battle tank. I have seen images on the web with the main cannon, this has lighter cannons shown, the likely hood is that these will likely be Vanquishers based on what I have seen online.

Those who have already seen and drooled over my other "Oddball Tanks" and camo jobs can expect the same treatment for these guys as they are a part of that same army.

Looking forward to this. I love the old crow model line so these will turn out well I 'm sure.

Thanks! If you go to the painting and modelling thread forum and look at the "Seeking out Oddball Tanks" thread by me, you will see how the Old Crow kits will likely wind up, Camo'd dirty'd and marked with unit decals.

The Sabre, I have found is a big tank, but a little bit lower in silhouette than the Leman Russ tank. The Lancer looks to be a BIG transport, making for a good 12 soldiers capacity. Worthy of a Commissar and Priest augmented squad! I have left over bits from a massive Leman Russ shipment, plenty of stuff to glue onto the tanks, and dozer blades as well!

will be nice to see how you 40k them up a treat^^

Some of the odder vehicle are in this upload, like the Thudd tractors and "Bob" the Vanquisher, he called Enzyte and got a big boost of confidence!

Oddball commercials for "Male enhancement" pills. They offered one month of free samples. Once you see the barrel on this tank you'll understand the joke more!

Another Thudd-Tractor, made from the small, 1/35th scale FT-17 Treads are Leman Russ tracks and sheet plastic shaped 40k style!

The gray one is scratch built hull, I remembered the basic layout of the Bren carrier, but the back slope of the armor appears very Panzer-like, so I made a Germ-glish tractor!

The black primed ones were FT-17 hulls, and I scratch built the shapes for the treads to go on. add GW bits and the wheels of the FT-17 for the gray one and that is how these oddball armored tractors were made^^

they are really good looking, i would just add some rivets for detail but you have to really feel proud about them!

And none of it from any specific blueprints either! I just said , weel that is how long and high I need them, and the rhomboid pattern shape works! Then simply rew patterns on the sheet-plastic, and started cutting!

The "Bren" was the same, I was like, well this and that go there......

for now i was afraid to actually go down that line and totally absolutly go from scratch. develop an original concept and build it up to full working tank...but all in all this road could be even easier as you can work with lots of different thicknesses and different materials like wood for a skeleton to gie a good structure...hmmm i´ve recently bought me a small bandsaw...
this could really work...

The simpler the tank design the easier it will be to make it. Of course, I am out of spare Leman/Chimera track links, I may just go find other tracks being sold online for use. I have some ideas now how to make WWI-esque behemoths.

Ebay have a plasticard seller that sells a sheet of tracks. I'll see and get the link if you're interested.

Found out the delay at Old Crow will be about 21 days (Hopefully less) But they are paid for, and I am hoping they will be here before March 4th, and then I can let folks see the works in progress.
