Hello all,

I posted something similar to this quite some time ago and got a few responses but I figured I would give it another shot and see what happens. Are there any 40K playing groups meeting in NYC at all? There used to be a club downtown called the Warmongers that would meet frequently but I have not had any contact with those guys for years. Does anyone know if they are still active and playing 40K? I think there is another store (maybe called Jim Henley's or something like that) in the downtown area that may have had a group. Any help you guys can give me would be great.

Also, I am aware that there is a GW store in the Village. I've been there a few time and I have not been too impressed. The staff does not seem overly friendly and, like most GW stores it seems, it is usually overrun with children. I don't mind kids (the hobby dies without new players) but it would be nice to find a more mature group to game with.

One last note, I'm on the Upper West Side of Manhattan so please don't suggest anything on Long Island. It's not that I have anything against Long Island, nor is it that I don't appreciate the suggestion. The problem is that it takes so long to get out to Long Island that I would almost be better off going into Connecticut or White Plains to get a game.

Thanks in advance for all your help

Warmongers are still active, and play up at the Compleat Strategist. Thursdays and Saturdays if I recall correctly.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.
