Just wanted to see if anyone had the dimensions for the Hellhound and Rhino handy. Just looking for the height, width and length. Looking to see what the diffrence is between them. Thanks.

Okay. I guess no one has it handy.
The reason I'm asking is that I want to make a Hellhound. But, I don't have alot of money, but I do have a Rhino that I have yet to put together. I was thinking of using the body of the Rhino and then with some converting, I was going to make it into a Hellhound (with pictures coming soon).
Would anyone have a problem playing against a model like that? I would let all who I play what it is, but I'm sure (once I'm done getting it converted) they would figure out what it would be.
Thanks.

I dont think you have to worry too much about the size, I'd play vs that conversion any day.

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time... |

why wouldnt you be able to play? if anything the rhino is probably a bit bigger than the hellhound, so any opponent shouldnt gripe about that, unless of course its about blocking line of sight...but in that case, screw your opponent get a cooler one, one that whines less...

Hmm, whats this? a chaos dreadnought? oh and you didnt see my 3 wraithlords...oh thats just too bad... |

If it's obvious what it is, then it should be legal - made out of scratchbuilt or GW bits. The new Rhinos tend to be bigger than the Chimeras by a little bit, and you can fit predator turrets on top and they look grand, so I don't see why not. Look to the immolator for inspiration, or the old immolators.
Converting is fun!

Obvious to who, I am so new to the game I oogle over a new model even when its not converted, I just played against this awesome Emperor's Children army, he had 4 squads of 12 men with sonic rifles and blastmasters, and a whole crap load of these daemonettes he had converted the legs on to be naga like, (A naga usually has a serpent body from below the waist, and a beautiful womans from the waist up. . . ) I looked for 20 minutes in the store before asking if they were converted,
