Hi all

I bumped into an old mate last night whilst in the pub, you lot know him as Jass and after a quick conversation with him he re-ignited my love of all things hammerery (is that a word?)
He also pointed me towards this site, I am surprise I have not come across it before!

A bit about me then,

Started 40k about 1990 with space marine army pack and a copy of the Codex (I love the paintings and drawings) and managed to gather up an OK Dark Angel army. I did not game that much as the closest GW was in Reading and a bit too far away. But I did continue to paint and read white dorf with Jass and a few other friends (he was MUCH better than me and by the looks of it, still is)
My parents misplaced most of my army when I moved out 7 years ago but I managed to find a few around the house. The last figure I painted was a Imperial Sentinel which I rather enjoyed so as a GW has landed in Newbury I will go and buy something to paint again.
I have a rather impressive collection of Black Library books, infact I have run out of shelves to store them on I also got a special addition copy of Ultramarine which I have only managed to watch the once so far.

Other than that, I play A LOT of games on the PC (LOTRO, Metro 2033, Dead Space 2 to name a few) and sometimes turn on my PS3 if the wife lets me near the TV. I read a lot but work, new baby and OU course take up most of my time now.

Now I think I need to do some exploring of this forum
