Well I decided to take a break from the enormous horde of Orks I have, and decided to try something a bit different. I've never tried a Marine side, and have had a soft spot for the Red Scorpions since I first saw the models on Forge World.
This is the first finished squad I have done so far, and would welcome any C&C. Having only painted Necrons and Orks in the past, I've only ever painted old, worn and weathered models and have tried to go for something moderately new(ish) looking

I've used the illustrations in IA 7 and 9 for the colour scheme. I will admit that I do think I could have done much better with the Apothecary, but to be fair that is my first ever white model. It's my first use of transfers on models too, so I've been playing with Micro Sol and Micro set, which seems to work pretty well.

Sorry if the pic quality is patchy, I'm currently playing with my phone's camera in order to get the best out of it.

Stop mocking me with your progress!

Nice work though, good white. Stones from the basing kit or garden?

Thanks for the comments!

The bases were a product of the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. Yes, they are fake rocks from the 40k Basing kit.

It seemed like such a good idea when I bought it...
