The mission was Victory Points with an Objective tiebreaker, or the other way around I can't quite remember which was the primary. But you got to nominate one unit to be worth double victory points, so I think might have been it.
It was a dawn of war setup, my opponent won the roll off, and had me go first. We both kept everything off the table, and he decided to deepstrike both of the land raiders with troops inside.
I moved everything on the table, but kept them back to try and limit my opponents first round shooting with the night fight rules.
He then walked on everybody that wasn't deepstriking, and couldn't see anything due to night fight.
This picture is as the very beginning of my turn two, I had simply shuffled around to get shots on his dread and predator. Normally I probably would have advanced more, but I didn't want crazy deepstriking stuff shooting up my rear armor and what not. It didn't really matter though, as none of my shooting did anything!
Here is the beginning of his turn two shooting phase. One of the land raiders had deepstruck back in his deployment zone, and the rest of his armor moved forward. Our dice were mututally horrible at this point, as his shooting didn't do anything either.
This picture is right at the beginning of his turn 3. I had moved up the left hand defiler and daemon prince, who got a big 6 on his run roll. I sent them both at the raider as none of my long range fire could really hurt it, being only Str8. The fat daemon prince had tried to get a charge off on the predator, but failed his difficult terrain roll. The greater daemon had popped out that turn, and was followed eagerly by a blood raging dreadnought, who also rolled a 6 for his run roll! My shooting had once again done nothing, so my opponent opened fire and the land raider managed to knock the battle cannon off of the defiler.

His furioso sprouted wings and assaulted my daemon prince, who promptly exploded it. Never charge when the enemy has the high ground!
My turn 4 saw me moving closer, with the conga line in the middle. My shooting finally got a result and stunned the dreadnought,
lol. The fat daemon prince lashed the 5 assault marines in range, and killed them during the assault.
That same turn, the prince and defiler charged the land raider. My prince whiffed

and the defiler ripped off a lascannon. Sheesh!
My opponents turn 4 brought no relief though, as his deepstriking land raider, with the reclusiarch and a 10 man
tac squad scattered into this impassable rock spire. He rolled a two on the mishap table and they went back in the case!
After that, his troops jumped out of the raider and attempted to meltagun the defiler, but rolled low, and the defiler shrugged it off with his daemonic possession. On my turn 5, the defiler and the prince charge the newly disembarked
tac squad, killed a bunch but ended up locked in combat. My chaos marines jumped onto two objectives, and everybody else shot at the one remaining dread and managed to stun and shake him. Meanwhile, the fat prince ripped the turret off of the predator.
I missed taking pictures of turn 6, where the
tac squad was wiped out, the defiler immobilised by the land raider, and the last
BA dreadnought bit it to another torrent of fire.
Turn 7 consisted of the princes and greater daemon chasing after vehicles again. I managed to explode the predator finally, but the land raider lived on, albeit with no weapons.
So in the end I managed a win, with both objectives and
VP's. Somehow I only lost one rhino in this game. Losing the deepstriking land raider really hurt my opponent, as apparently my close combat monsters can't actually kill things in close combat. (Unless they are rampaging furioso dreads

)
So all in all a good game with lots of silly moments, most of which were probably due to my daemons diddling themselves instead of concentrating on their jobs. Ah well, such is the life of those who meddle with Slaanesh!
I'll have round two up in a couple of days.
