Thank you, Griever! The Tervigons were made from the kit sold by Chapterhouse Studios. It took some green stuffing, but I think they turned out alright. The Hive Guard still need their guns glued on, too, I just haven't yet because I didn't want to try and paint in between it, hahaha.

I think I'm going to change up the Tyrant next time and experiment with different options, maybe 2 sets of TL Devourers w/BLW.

Yeah good game and that really sucked when the stormboyz died first turn. But yeah an objective game with only 3 units can be hard to do. But nice game and battle report

@Commissar80: Each unit of Nob Bikerz w/ the Warboss come out to 620 Points. Its a ton of points for each unit, but their staying power/killing power is amazing IMO. It is tough with only 3 units, but I have a good time trying to make it happen.

Good report! I think you could use a unit of grots to hold objectives so your bikers can continue the offense and contesting of your opponents objectives, rather than having to fall back to capture, especially since 2/3 game types are objective based. Plus grots are cheap so you wouldn't have to drop a lot of your current units.

I'm a latin bro, so my slampiece cooks me quesadillas.

Mr DK I completely agree. I'll post a battle report using them. If I were to do it, I would def run 29 of them for staying power.

did anyone at all notice that he used both his Tyrant powers at the same time? You can only use one! only the Swarmlord can use 2 at a time. (eg that's a reason why I run him). But as horrible as it sounds points wise, I run both a Flyrant AND the swarmlord xD fun times guys.

The Tyranids are like the great Hydra, remove one head, two more will sprout from it's neck equally deadly, they care not for plea for mercy, for they have no soul to care. All that is left in the void of their soul is a hunger, It is this, that the marines cannot kill...

You should be okay with around 10 grotz + herder. The main thing is that 29 grotz die just as easy in assualt as 10 grotz do. Even a squad of 10 guardsmen will probably beat 29 grotz in combat by several wounds, and because they don't have mob rule you're left with a difficult morale test to pass.

Larger squads are good for surviving shooting though, since you're always getting your re-rolled LD7 to pass tests from shooting and you can keep going to ground. But your enemy probably won't have time to worry about your grotz in any case, since they should be more worried about the Nob Bikers howling towards them!

I normally use a squad of about 10-15 grotz in a battlewagon mech army and most the time they aren't even touched...but most the time they win me the game as the rest of my army screams forward and gets almost annihilated, but I still have that squad of grotz chilling out on my objective. Its a very nice cheap way of putting more pressure on your enemy, not only do they have to stop your charge, but they also have to come onto your side of the board to take your grotz!

Yeah, that was my bad. I thought, since it was a psychic shooting attack, that I could use both of them if I didn't fire my guns.
