Can a tyrant use his guns and 2 psychic powers in a single shooting phase?

Cool battle report, but i think 3 squads of long fangs are a little over kill at 1250.

A monstrous creature can fire 2 shooting "weapons" a turn, but is limited to a single psychic power a turn(swarmlord is the only Tyrant who can use 2 pyschic powers a turn). I would interpret this to mean they could fire 2 weapons, or 1 psychic power that counts as a psychic shooting attack and a weapon.

I interpreted it mean a psychic power as a shooting attack, done in the shooting phase, is one of his 'guns'. Maybe I have it wrong.

I thought it meant that they can use their 1 psychic power per turn AND fire 2 weapons, but just to clarify how the psychic shooting attack works, the rules just say treat it as if firing a weapon.

Then the rules say if a model can fire more than 1 ranged weapon it can substitute a psychic shooting attack for one of those. I thought that meant if the model can use 2 psychic powers, then it could substitute firing one of its weapons for its 2nd psychic power.

I could be totally off, though.

3 longfangs is fine And generally will work well

Yeah I tweaked my list around for 1500 and i think its going to be a bit better. Not to mention, I will generally get better with tactics if i play more than one game with them =)
