Here is something I made for my dad. I forget where the terrain was from. The models are from Reaper.

The heroes...

...and the villain.

Thanks bro.

I have tons of other pieces of terrain and more Reaper models that I plan to use in other dioramas/settings.

Nice work. While some of the sculpts look like pants, generally I really like the stuff Reaper puts out. There's a surprising amount of detail ipacked into their sculpts but, just as importantly, they seem to know when to stop (I'd almost always opt for a simple, clean model tan a cluttered mess, however intricate the detail).

How were they to paint? I'm sure I've just been spoiled by hulking Orks and super-buff Space Marines, but looking at the one Reaper mini I actually own, I suddenly feel like my brushes just aren't tiny enough (I'm pretty sure I've got a 20/0 liner tucked away, somewhere).

It was both fun and challenging. It was kind of refreshing after painting troops for Warmachine or Warhammer. I didn't have to worry about matching colors or something so regimental. But I really had to take my time to get the details just right. But the effort is worth it. I don't remember the brush size I used for painting these guys.

I like the idea you have here. Also the base is really nice.

Not a fan of the mini paint jobs. Looks like a base coat. More work would be nice. Plus the mini bases arnt painted which looks really weird overall.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.
