Hey guys, I am looking for a laid back club/place to play that is kind to a novice player looking to play more. I live in the Baltimore Metro area and am tired of playing A@#Hats and 11 year olds If you know of anything or maybe just maybe are thinking about starting a club let me know!

Mike

Lots of discussion right here. RiTides seems to be in the know in terms of who's around those parts.

What games were you looking to play? GW stores are a good place to find players for GW games. The FLGS that I know of that have some sort of community are Games and Stuff, Collectors Corner, and Crit Hit games. Others include Legends, and Canton Games.

Almost every store, GW or FLGS, will have some kiddies and TFG. If you don't like them, then don't play with them. The key is to find the good people in the shop and arrange games.

From my own experience GW Yorkridge is casual.

Inner Circle has a real good group of guys. Hell of a lot of fun to game with.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Ya, I PM'ed you this, but Inner Circle is good for more competitive-tourney focused gaming, and often play in Glen Burnie. If you like tournies, they represent at a lot of the ones around here, all the way up to mikhaila's store . Great guys.

I also recommend Ineptus Astartes near Columbia for a more laid-back group that does a lot of cool modelling projects and generally has a good time with casual gaming.

Check 'em both out or just ask at the GWs in the area (Inner Circle at many of them, Ineptus Astartes probably only at the Columbia store).

I"ll have to check out the clubs as well. Played a few games at the Columbia GW store as well as the GW store at Arundel Mills, good people just don't like dragging the models through the mall. Been to the Glen bernie FGLS but have yet to get a game in there.

You there, out of the pool!
