I've been looking around, but sadly some of the best stuff I've seen isn't going to match up with GW scale figs.

So I'm wondering if any Dakkanauts out there have had figs in hand next to GW ones and can say, yep these ones don't look like a midget, or some kind of starved supermodel next to the Empire folks around them. Anyone had Redbox stuff, does it sit well next to Empire figs, or is it too small, for example?

In particular I'm after Sisters of Sigmar styled figs, but would be interested in looking at anything suitable.
But yeah, any links, friendly directions etc, would be most appreciated.

i think you want to look into "das schwarze Auge"... a german rpg system...they have their own range of metal minis and these are very similar to GW size... also they do a range of units for a game more like warhammer in a skirmish way... its called armalion...

http://www.armalion-kompendium.de/?section=miniaturen

there are a bunch of very colorful and charcterful minis there and i have some of these myself and they are a perfect mix/standin for GW mordheim minis...

if interested i could do some comparisionshos of some minis i stil have...
