So hey all,
I'm kinda new to Dakka, but its all good!
I've been painting 40k for a while, but never played, and I've just refound my happiness for it after a few years without it.
So I seem to have gone on an all out techmarine/techpriest related conversions,
BUT I WARN I am not that good with converting, only cutting and gluing pieces together

So I would like to ask you all to give me tips/improvements for my conversions!

FIRST UP is my Dreadknight which came in the post by courier this morning (:
Thanks to a friend of mine who is offering his Rogue Traders Dreadnoughts which I will use as servitors, I decided to convert my dreadknight into a tech-knight using bits and bobs around the house!
currently its all superglued which means i can rip off bits and change them, but here are the pics so far:

First Construction!

Arm detail, Note I decided to use the heavy flamer cylinders as Tesla coils of the like which power the sword

Part of the initial tech harness, which will be mounted on one side of the back (more pics later)

Tesla coil wiring and harness mounting test. Also note I decided to add some extra wiring to the arm controls of the driver to the machine (:

More of the harness mounting pics. I've even decided to add a chopped off carnifex head being tied and held by the free arm of the dreadknight

I haven't received the servitors yet, but i hope i'll be able to make a decent job of them

Thanks for reading guys!
remember to leave me some tips!

It's looking alright, not sure about the carnifex head. But look forward to seeing it when your back up Colly way.

Well, here's an update on the situation!

I decided I wasn't that keen on the previous harness, so I made a new one, and for the first time ever I decided to use some guitar wire, and i never knew it could be this good!
Here are some progress pics:

New Harness cable system thing xD

The front, now with plasma cutter and flamer, and a targeting module above the dreadknight, along with a visor-thing using the personal teleporter, as seen to the left of the driver

Keep giving comments on improvements!

I like it, definitely gives it a bit more of that 40k-ness the standard kit's lacking.
