They look great.

But, when I saw "world of twilight", I was expecting to see pictures of sparkley vampires :(

Seconded.

Seriously though, great stuff. Models remind me of The Dark Crystal for some reason...

I get the Dark Crystal vibe, as well, even if they don't line up directly with any of the species/races presented.

Regardless, it's a nice looking little force.

Very nice!! What caught my eye the most was the basing! What, Where did you get the stuff for it?

Thanks guys!

I always compensate for my lackluster painting by making my bases as nice as I can. Most of the basing is standard stuff - sand, glue, paint, and static grass. The larger tufts of grass are from MiniNatur, though you can get the same thing (repackaged and repriced ) from Army Painter without having to go through the mail. Everything on these bases I got from Scenic Express (www.scenicexpress.com). The grass tufts are called Buffalo Grass and come in different colors and lengths. The smaller bushes - purple and yellow - are Heather and Summer Goldenrod, also by MiniNatur (or Silflor, if you prefer to call them that). The taller, weedy trees are from a company called JTT. They're supposed to be for railroad layouts but I figured I'd try them out next to my minis, I don't think they look too bad. In the future, though, I think I will paint the 'trunks', the brown that comes already painted on is kind of thin and won't take handling gracefully. That, and it's a terrible color.
