so i was working at our local gaming store that does 40k, and other games-workshop products and such have been told that our location and the mall we are in is being closed due to the parking lot needing tons of work and the whole mall being a liability issue and the owners dont want to do anything about it great falls MT isnt that fun of states and seeing how there isnt another store to play at within 70-100 miles me and my wife have been thinking about moving to another state that is not to far away and that has a gaming store and work available. If anyone has any ideas please let me know thank you in advance dakka community

Utah has a pretty strong gaming community. I live in Wyoming and Cheyenne seems to be decent in terms of gaming (and work) but throughout the state gaming is pretty dismal. Don't know much about Idaho's gaming or work situation though. Colorado (denver) probably has the strongest of both but then you are getting a little far away AND I don't know if you want to live in a metropolitan area.

I'm a big fan of Washington. The Olympia area has a pretty good economy for jobs, a good gaming community, and a pretty reasonable standard of living. If you want the big city, there's always Seattle, but a move from Great Falls to Seattle would be a big jump. I actually moved from Billings to Olympia as a kid - it was a move that worked well. (Although it cracked me up when we'd get 2 inches of snow and suddenly no one knew how to drive anymore...2 inches? Come on!)

There is always Alberta, dude. Medicine Hat has a half decent gaming store and Calgary has some of the best gaming stores in Canada (and in my experience the World). But Canada doesn't want too many people who are able to actually do things. Maybe out Spokane way.
