I'm kind of a selfish person. I'll admit, I'm generally too jaded to give to big charities and I'm not big on volunteering to read to children or help the homeless or anything like that.

The one thing I do however is when the Humble Indie Bundle comes out, I make damn sure I let people know about it.

What is it? It's the best way to give to some of the very few charitable organizations that I'd trust and support and at the same time, help fund indie gaming. So here's the deal. Humble Bundle is a co-op with indie game studios (in this case Frozenbyte) to set up the site at the above link. The idea is simple: You buy their games. The novel part is that you get to name your price. The more novel thing is that you get to choose who gets your money. In addition to giving money to Frozenbyte, you also can choose how much money (if not all) goes to the EFF and Child's Play, in addition to the corporation that provides the bandwidth and resources making this possible.

This is their third time putting on the Bundle, and I gotta say, I've actually played Shadowgrounds before, and it was pretty good. I recommend checking this out.

That is a very.....interesting idea. Average price is $5 but with almost $300,000 sold not bad. I'll look into it

Frozenbyte made Trine right? Trine is so damn good they can have all my monies forever.

Seriously everyone check out Trine, one of my fave games of all time, and Trine 2 is coming out soon!

I just installed and played Trine for the first time last night, and I gotta say, amazing platformer. It's about as impressive as Braid for physics and the "wow factor" and it has some amazing graphics to boot.
