While it is a bit North of you, Misty Mountain (http://www.mistymountaingames.com/north/) has monthly tournaments for 40K and Fantasy. Over twenty people show up every month for 40k so it is worth the drive.
It looks like there is one about 45 minutes north in Waseca Called Event Horizon Hobbies. Otherwise if your up for a 4 hour round trip, there is the Fantasy Flight hobby center in roseville. which is where I usually go to play.
