After reading lots of tutorials and posts on here, it has improved my painting no end. I would say that i still only paint to table top quility, but i am happy with that and its something i can improve on.
All my miniatures so far have been standard with no conversions. So when Playing D&D with my normal group of deviants, i had an idea. One of my friends has had my Space marine proxying in for her Female fighter for ages. I thought i would try my hand at playing around with green stuff, and create her a female fighter to play with. Before that, all i have used green stuff for is filling joints when pinning, and the extent of my sculpting had been rolling it into a ball for a resurection orb to be used with my Necron Lord. So this was a bit of a step up, but i felt that i was up for a challenge. So i thought i would create a blog, to keep me motivated, and to to get C&C from my piers (more like betters

)
The photos have been taken on my phone, so i hope they look good enough. My work is not really good enough to warrent a light box to pick out the detaill
lol.
I Started off with a Templar model from my old Talisman Game.
I then dealt with all the mold lines before attacking the sword and removing it, as Elisa Wields a giant Warhammer. I also removed the plume from the helment and tried to remove some of the bulk of the helmet as well. I then drilled out her hand first with a 1/2mm drill bit (between my fingers) then widened it out with a 2mm drill bit. I then cut a tooth pick to size and rounded off the edges. Then i sculpted her some long hair and breasts. Her breasts were really hard to get right, and i spent ages on them. When showing them to my wife she said they were way to big
lol. So i trimmed them down and tried rounding them out again. Once happy i then glued in the shaft of the hammer.
it was then left to cure over night, the next day i decided to plan out what i would do with the hammer that evening. So once i got home this resulted in my rolling out some green stuff unto a long thing sausage and wrapping it round the shaft. I also found a nice skull in my bits box, probably from my
AOBR, and added this to the base.
I had decided that i wanted to make some flag stones for the base, so before i went to bed i rolled out some green stuff and cut it into squares, then left them on the top of my greased vasaline tin to cure. The next evening i glued them Down with PVA glue on to the base (a mistake i will not make again). I also rolled out a small sausage again and then flattened it, and wrapped this round the top of the shaft. and then scored in some lines to make it look more like a sword. This was to represent a sword that had been magically entwined onto the Warhammer embueing it with power. In addition i took one of my beautifully sculpted pre cured balls and drilled a hole in it to glue onto the end of the shaft as a pommel.
The next day when it had cured and the glue had dried i noticed that the flag stones were all peeling off, so i carefully removed them and the PVA residue, and proceeded to glue them back on with super glue

All the while i had been sculpting the head for the Hammer, but i had not taken pictues because they were not coming out well enough. Basically i first made a oblong box and left that to cure, then the next day i added a trapeziod to the top, and the day after that i added the two sides. I had also rolled out some flat pieces and cut into various shapes so that once it had cured i could glue on for more detail (to be picked out with drybrushing) I then drilled out the base of the hammer and glued it onto the shaft, and then using super glue, glued on the flat details.
Oh yes, and i had decided that her breasts were not looking good enough, they looked to boring. so i decided to roll out a flat piece of green stuff and mould it onto the front to represent a breast plate, so that there would be more flesh for me to paint up (ie cleavage), also in the game she has green tattos all over her torso, so i would be able to paint them in now as well.
For my first real attempt at converting and sculpting with Green stuff i was happy.
After she had all dried and cured i gave her a nice spray of chaos Black and left to dry in my Death Cupboard. (So called, because previously you risked death stepping ito it as somethign might fall on you

)
I have since done some painitng, but i need to get those photos off my phone. So once i have done that i will update further. Please let me know what you think
(Eddited - Dam my typing was bad
lol, just read through what i actually wrote and tidied it up. Thats what i get for trying to rush it at the end of my lunch hour.)
