I heard the Bazaar(model exchange) was today at the Antioch GW but forgot to call yesterday. Does anyone know before I drive all the way to alamo or antioch?

Well, I went there anyway since it said they opened at 12. Door was locked so I went to grab a bite to eat. I called several times and no one picked up.

When I came back, it was 12:40 and surprise surprise they were still locked up. I saw the worker actually leave the store and drive off right after I left so wtf?!

So, $5 worth of gas wasted. I would complain to the company about them having ing lazy workers but I dont know the email address. Im never going to the Antioch store again, he seemed like a drug addict to not know how to open a store on time.

I found out they had store hour changes so heres the new hours:

Mon-Thu 2pm-8pm; Fri 1pm-12am; Sat 12pm-8pm; Sun 12pm-6pm. This is wrong though, as they are open starting Wednesday I believe not Monday and Tuesday.

Their number is 314-0481 if you want to confirm their days open.

Wed-Fri 1pm-8pm; Sat 12pm-8pm; Sun 12pm-6pm

Sorry to hear that. I know its frustrating, but it is very possible something heavy/unpleasant/personal was going on. When its a one-person store, and life hits the crapper (as it inevitably does), there is no one to take up the slack. Its also possible that there was a water or electrical outage (or other facility issue), who knows. That said, yes, the dude (whoever it was) should have at least put a sign on the door apologizing for the unscheduled closure. If you desire to contact corporate, a brief description of the issue, and the basic suggestion of courtesy signage, would be much better taken than a laundry list of complaints and personal attacks on the work ethics of employees.

Disclaimer: I have no association with that store... I don't know any GW employees outside my very small local area (Maryland). However I've done my time as a customer service grunt , as well as been a disgruntled customer, so I feel for both sides in this scenario.

Sounds good. I'll call in to Antioch tomorrow and ask to see what happened before I take it to corporate, as it might have been something tragic but if the guy denies it then I have no pity for him, as he didnt even post a sign saying what was wrong.

I've hung out at plenty of 1 man GW stores in the UK and Australia and if the store is abandoned (toilet break, lunck, spraying moels around the back of the shopping centre) a sign is always left indication how long it will be closed.

Its the same with my local, it is randomly closed often BUT there is always a sign.

So, talked to the guy. They changed the open time from 12 to 1 without updating it, so no harm no foul.

Is that the regular opening time from now on? I make the occasional trip that way and would hate to have an hour to kill lol.
