One year ago today we received our first miniatures, The Badger-At-Claw & Mouse Conscript. This was a new experience for us, no one in
OTL had any experience with casting miniatures. Now just one year later we have 20 units for 6 factions! We had to do a lot of googling, and asking established companies.
Mantic Games was a big help in giving us casting information, and supplying us with the white cases that our Squad Boxes and Warbands come in.
Black Orc Games, our metal caster has been fantastic in dealing with our inexperience in the way of casting miniatures and ensuring that everything comes out great.

In this last year we've had over 25 different sculpts done up for Brushfire, the majority of which have been by Daniel Fokine. Daniel has come a long way in the last year, his first sculpt for us was the Mouse Lancer and his most recent is the Pride Lioness. We've also had four sculpts by the talented Leandro Ventic: The Badger-At-Claw, Mouse Conscript, Mole Tactician, and Capybara Capitiane; and one sculpt by Terry Mikruit, the Hamster Berserker. We're planning on working with a few more sculptors in the future, so keep an eye out.

Whats ahead in the next year? We have a lot of plans, we just are not ready to disclose everything just yet. I will say that all of the Historia Rodentia Warbands will be out by Christmas, and we're going to have a few more troops for Mare-Civitas and Vandalands coming out in next few months. We're also looking to release a few more mercs soon, as that will be a benefit for all players. Those will of course be free rules.

Speaking of rules, the 1st printing for Historia Rodentia is nearly sold out, only a handful of copies remain, and those will most likely be gone by this weekend. This is also rather exciting for us, we hadn't expected to go through this many copies this quickly. We'll be getting a second printing next month.
While on the subject of Brushfire, we'd like to announce that we've teamed up with
Outrider Hobbies to provide a variety of hobby aids to our players. Outrider will be the exclusive producer of Brushfire templates, tokens, and Foam Trays. We don't have an ETA on when the tokens and templates yet, but they are ready to accept your tray orders. Also, keep an eye on
Warcast Studios, all the wonderful bases you see under our models are done by them and they should have the Bamboo style bases you see on Ribenguo's models out soon.
As for what's planned that is not Brushfire related, We've got the license to provide miniatures for a Roleplaying Game. We're waiting to get the okay on concept artwork before announcing it, but we will say that it will feature more sculpts from Leandro Ventic. We also plan on revisiting our own Roleplaying System, Legendary Realms, in some fashion; and have plans for a few more games.
Thanks for supporting our Brushfire for this last year, the next will be even better!
