Does anyone on here play MAG? If so what factions and what are your psn tags?

don't play it much anymore but I would if i had someone to play it with
i think im on sver can't checkat the moment cus im in leeds with my ps3 but mag is in trowbridge

I played MAG, but when Black Ops came out I dropped it for a bit in favor of the Nazi Zombies and such. I loved sniping people as they dropped in from the plane.

I played on Valor because trees and rocks make better defenses than walls and barricades.

If your attention span is past that of an 8 year olds and you enjoy strategy as opposed to mundane mashing then yes it is an awesome title.

There are at times, but for the most part it's great.

Its really great when things work out well, which is when people listen to a competent squad leader, etc.

One match I was squad leader and no one listened to me, they kept splitting up to go after two different bunkers. I kept trying to tell them to focus on one of them. Some kid kept sitting in the back not doing anything except for talking to a guy on the other squad.

The inner comissar came out and I killed him several times.

All of my friends refuse to leave sver... it sucks... I want a challenge instead of steamrolling my opponents

I just went to find this game after watching a gameplay trailer for it and I find out it is only for PS3 D: Why cant developers make their games for PC also? They would have so much more business.

Are you kidding? Look at all of our rocks and trees and fear them! You can't bypass Valor's strict security perimeters made entirely out of rocks and trees! Go green, go Valor.

SVER steamrolls the hell out of people in everything except for Interdiction, also note that after Valor steamrolled in Interdiction everyone except for Valor stopped playing it.

Unless the balance of power shifted since the time I've been gone, in which case I've been with Valor since they sucked. I've also noticed that a large majority of Valor players lack headphones or have headphones but lack communication skills. Either way there are some magical games when people actually listen and everything goes right, one of the vehicle snatch missions was one of them. We had people who actually worked together and smashed Raven despite their efforts to stop me as I drove the vehicle out of the gate, I had the squad leader watching me and listened to his directions to get out. Ah... great moments.

As far as MAG being on the PC, why? You guys already have games with hundreds of players on them at once, this is the only game on the PS3 that lets 256 players battle it out with no lag. What other game on the PS3 can say that, its a big selling point and if they released it on PC it wouldn't sell as well compared to the other offerings on the PC.

Valor used to be notorious for that, now Raven seems to have taken up the quest for idiocy alongside their snipers which constitute for 1/3 of their entire force...

I was about to say, I either die to the Ak-47ish gun for SVER or the Raven LMG. How's that new game mode with all three fighting at once?

IF you get into one, Escalation is a killfest and Interdiction will test your patience as well as gunplay however both are worth it and with the new weapons they bring are fun as heck!

I love Interdiction, riding around in the APC's wind blowing through my hair... Escalation looked good. I'll probably have to get it along with the similarly named map pack for Black Ops when that comes out.

On topic i would play the darn game more if i could get that finiky wireless headset/mike working, i sinked the darn thing to the PS3 and charged it but it wont work (and yes i tried turning it on n off lol)
