It doesn't look bad and is certainly nice enough for table top. Some comments to help you improve:

1) The white paint looks thick. It's much better to use multiple thinned coats, as it avoids the "textured" look your white areas have. If you've primed black, you can use a light grey such as Astronomicon Grey in order to reduce the number of coats required.

2) Clean up mold lines and sprue clip points. They detract from the overall look of the model.

3) Consider highlighting the non-white parts such as the blues on the model. It will help the stand out more and add to the "pop" of the model.

Thanks for feedback-
Personally I like the 'rough' white, block white would look silly IMO
The blue bits are shadow grey-any recommendations on how to highlight that colour??

I like what you've done here, I've been thinking of doing a SMALL Tau force in the future with a similar paint scheme.

Like I said, I like it, and I personally think it looks damn good for being a first. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more...

Space Wolves Grey would probably be the best bet to highlight the Shadow Grey. or a 1:1 mix of Shadow and SW Grey.

Repent. For tomorrow you die. (All is dust...all is dust...all is dust...)
