Hey

It's my first model I painted since 10 years. When I was 15 I used to paint pretty quickly just so I could play games.

Now I would like to put some more effort in painting my army so c&c would be most welcome. I am a total noob at painting so don't mind to be harsh It's the only way to learn

Thanks for looking

Nice job! Looks great for your first time in 10 yrs. I like the take on the helmet (never was a fan of the red skull/demon? face). Only criticism is that the red on his thigh looks a bit bright so possibly wash it to match the "dirtier" look of the armor or just match the rest of his armor to that red?

He looks quite static for an angry servant of Khorne. And I'm not sure on the golden crotch plate Otherwise, neat stuff.

Ok sweet ! That are so comments I can work with

Thanks allot guys !

I will try working on some more dynamic posing and change the colour of the crotch piece to match the armor

I will also drill a hole in the barrel and of course base him.

Are there any other things I should pay attention to?

Nice model.

I like the brass coloured armour bits, and the white skull is a nice touch.

Nice, the skull painted in skull colours and not red really makes him stand out.

Whoa! Definitely keep the gold codpiece I mean that's the reason kids these days get into chaos.

Nice work, I'll second the post about the pose, also, did you remove all the mold lines? I'm looking mainly at the axe shaft.

I think it looks pretty good. Nice tabletop standard job.

Given that you've had so long away from painting, thats a fine start. To add to the suggestions, a bit of texture on the base, with a neutral tone to accentuate the colours of the model (maybe an urban or desert for red) would just make it look more finished. The painting itself looks neat and tidy, and the I'll concur with the positive comments about the skull helmet. All in all, a great re-entry into painting.

Only complaint I really have is that you should clean up the mold lines in the chain sword they totally stick out (well they do to me -_-) Just keep in mind to clean them on your next models and or army
