Normally i would post this in my P&M blog but i though i might get a different audience here. So i figured i change it up a bit.

A Warlock to go in my foot Seer Council, the idea was to make it shamanic and ragged. If you like it you can see his friends here.

Il be honest. your painting skills do not reflect your sculpting skills. Tabletop it looks good. But i think you could produce a much better looking army concentrating on your painting, but to each his own.

And I really don't want to draw the comparison but your banner looks almost exactly like a tom turkey's neck

Thanks for the feedback. But could you be more specific?

Is it the choice of color? the freehanding? the style?

I know i dont paint details like eyes or the soul stones is that what you dont like?

Because the hide hanging from the staff is so ragged, at first glance the whole thing looks more like some sort of variant Necron Flayed One. It would be better if you neatened up the edges and painted some bright/contrasting Eldar runes on it.

I really like the colours. At first I thought you had taken a dying flover to use as a staff and cloak, going for an organic look. And I think that is the biggest problem with the model: Im not sure what you are aiming at here; as ragged cloaks it looks really strange and unbalanced, as draped in a gigantic flowery petals it looks great, IMO
All in all, I like it, great choise of clours (and with an organic flowery look, it makes sense not to make out details, in favor of a natural camo feel).

I guess im not inclined to see it as skin but just as cloth. But it does seem a little sparse on the end, it probably could use some extra detail.

Thanks, I cant really claim all of the molding of the "green stuff" was totally on purpose, this was the first model i tried it on. so some of the form was random and unexpected, which is probably why i looks strange or unbalanced.
