After umming and ahhing about what 40k army to pick i finally settled on orks (after wasting like £100 on DE stuff). So here are some pictures of my first cupple of finished ones.

Any c&c is welcome =)

Also sorry for the slightly blury pictures my camera seems to be a little unwilling to take decent pictures of warhammer figures.

There a great start considering there your first paint jobs at this army., the SKin is fine, maybe some rust washes on the metal areas and some weathering on the material.

Also I think they will really come alive when you base them, a good base can make or break a model.

A pretty good start all round! Shame you wasted all that cash on DE.... Couldve been spending that on more Orks!
Just a quick question thou, are they any particular clan, or just one you have created?

I noticed you painted them in 3 different skin tones, I like the one in the middle the best. I suggest using a light Ogryn Flesh wash over them, tends to give the skin a nice organic look.

Have you tried any detailing yet? Checks and dags go a long way. Simple patterns on weapons and guns.

Keep up the good work!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
