I recently acquired a large load of orks from a friend, and after deciding that I didn't really want to actually play the Ork Codex, I was trying to think of what to do with them. I've always harbored a secret love of Witch Hunters, but have never had the money to afford an all metal army, and I'm not the biggest fan of the current Sisters of Battle sculpts. So I came up with just about the silliest idea, which is to convert all of my new found orks into the Orkquisition.

Fluff wise, I'm thinking that a bunch of orks saw their pals getting their asses kicked by some Witch Hunters, and decided to mimic them so as to better smash and kill (or bolter and kill). They also decided to grow thick heads of hair, because obviously the length of your hair and your potential for dakka is directly related.

I've started building and painting some infantry, and am going to buy some Rhinos from a friend to turn into Immolators, Exorcists, and well, Rhinos. Here are my first two (I apologize for the dark pics, I can take some brighter ones upon request), a Sis Bat and a Callidus Assassin:

So what do y'all think? And if I showed up across from you with this sort of army, would you be okay with them counting as Witch Hunters? I've got an Inquisitor and some Storm Troopers on my work table right now, and'll have pics of them up soon as I begin to paint.

It's Orks. I'd be okay with them dressed in Storm Trooper armour and led by Darth Vader, as long as the conversions were decent.

Of course, I'd be MORE than okay if you showed up with an army of My Little Orkoids, but I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.
