It is hard to find a fantasy player in the K.C. area. There are some but it is definately a 40k dominated area. If anyone is willing to give me some ard boyz style practice I would be greatly appreciative. Bare in mind that I have a brand new army book in the tomb kings coming out this weekend and it will be a little slow in my first couple of games. pm me if interested.
Target Point value: 3k points
Missions: Semi Ard Boyz missions
Location: The Basement, Game Cafe, TableTop, or 31st Century or personal gaming board if you got one.

We've got quite a bit of WHFB over in Lawrence, if you can ever make it out this far. Tuesday nights are our GW nights at Hometown Games, and we typically have a pretty good turnout for both games. Alternatively, try Frost Reaver, which is a gaming ground around the K.C. area.

I have heard of hometown games. It just I live in saint joe atm so the further they are from kc the farther I have to go to play. Its an hour and a half from my current location. From KC it is only an hours drive so I wouldn't mind as much if I am guaranteed at least 2 games. Otherwise that's an expensive trip.
As for frostreaver.net I am on there currently and a frag member. It is a good gaming group but a significant majority are 40k. The fantasy crowd hasnt really caught on that well yet.

Didn't know there was actualy any fantasy players in St.Joe
Mostly only know of 40k players!
Best bet is Tabletop games or 31st centry.
Avoid the basement, they have alot of people who blatently arent good for games is one way to put it..

lol im actually a regular at the basement as they have weekly tournaments and they are the closest to my house. It is obvious they are more 40k oriented then fantasy. They have a newer crowd and some players that are new to the hobby. I am an experienced player and willing to provide a few games that are more for my opponent then myself. As for fantasy they dont have any atm. The fantasy armies on display there are mine. I know there are players in st. Joseph but dunno if there are any fantasy players.

You can always try Basement Games in Zona Rosa. I think they are getting into WFB. You can always call them and see when they are playing.
