The trailer seems weak at first, but it gets better after the initial scene.

I just saw this over at Beasts of War and think it looks genius. Sadly I'm not in a position to help fund it but may if my situation improves - it's a great way to get funding for a film as well...inspirational stuff

I'm not sure geekdom is selling out I just think people are more accepting towards nerds now and the subculture has increased in size, hence more dork-related merchandise.

Meh in my experiences most "geeky" things other than videogames and scifi movies are still frowned upon and considered very uncool.
The whole faux geek movement where I am is limited to people saying they are geeks and love starwars or wearing glasses with no lens's, that is about it.

Nothing really, or at least nothing worse than everything else that this is a part of. It's just weird. And annoying.
