Citizens of Sephrinix VI, the rumours of invasion from space are nothing but rumours. These malicious rumours have been started by heretical daemon worshiping cults hidden within the population of Sephrinix. As of now, a curfew shall be enforced. By 2100 hours all personnel without specific permission from the Inquisition must remain indoors. Anyone caught out of doors will be taken from questioning. From this moment on, the Inquisitor Pelew Arnhem is second command of Sephrinix VI, under order of the High Lords of Terra. Obey the curfew and stay true to the Emperor and this curfew shall be removed quickly.

I saw them again tonight I’m sure of it! While I was herding some of the Grox young, I’m sure I saw the lights in the sky again. This time they didn’t just pass overhead, they headed towards the planet about 20k from here. If I see them again I’m gonna go investigate and see if it needs reporting, no doubt I’ll need to be careful.

Odd side note, today some of the herd that ventured near to yesterdays visitation have disappeared, so my herd is at about 80 percent strength, when I bring them back in I’m gonna get a bollocking.

Inquisitor Pelew Arnhem,
I have received and understood your message. For the time being, you are to continue your investigation and inform me of any discoveries. I have a terrible feeling about this, something seems out of place. I have looked into the history of the Sephrinix system, and something seems wrong. Everything about it is too perfect. It was discovered in 305M37 and colonized after slight terraforming in 435M37. Since then, it has become both a hive world, and an offworld trading site, with several key trade lanes running through its’ system. In 853M40 there was a slight Chaos incursion onto Sephrinix V, but with the combined might of an Astartes crusade from the Blood Angels, White Scars, Black Templars and the Death Spectres. With these warriors fighting in the Emperors’ name, the traitor forces could not hold and were wiped out to a man. I am eager to see whether or not some chaos forces survived this slaughter, but it seems unlikely. It is more likely that the Governor has become soft after ruling such a placid planet and has begun to indulge in hedonistic pleasures or blasphemous practices and attracted the ruinous powers. I have been in negotiations with the Boreal Templars *A non-codex Astartes chapter of an unknown foundling, who as of recently were outcast to the Empire due to “Blasphemous” practices. In reality it seems they were too brusk to the Inquisition on previous occasions so a particularly vengeful Inquisitor had them declared heretical. I have spent a long time investigating the chapter as a whole and have decided this is not the case, and in order to regain their position, they must assist us here* to gain assistance for your mission. I wish to keep this low key, so I have been forced to shy away from the usual channels of requesting aid. This must be kept low key because soon after I had been researching Sephrinix, it seemed someone was after my life. I know I’m usually paranoid, and having been my Neophyte you know this better than some, but it seems several articles of my clothing were poisoned, and several transports I was forced to leave were... inconvenienced in permanent ways. So this must now stay with the people you know you can trust. I have already sent the Boreal Templars to Sephrinix, they should be arriving soon, I trust you can deal with the Astartes?
