Hey there, I'm new to the forums and very new to Warhammer 40k. My fiance has really been trying to introduce me to this game as I've introduced him to tabletop rpgs. I'm trying to get together a Tyranid army but I have no clue what I'm doing though I'm still trying to have fun with putting the models together and painting them.
As for something about me, I'm pretty much into anything considered nerdy and will give most anything a try. I've never been one who's too interested in strategy, being more of the "Punch it in the face until it gives up" type but we'll see how I enjoy wargaming. Nice to meet you all.

Check out the army list and tactics sections, scroll down till you find a tyranid one with comments or create your own thread.
I got really good results by posting a thread in tactics titled 'new space wolves player looking for advice'. There are alot of pro gamers here on dakka and many are fans of the bugs.
PS buy the codex before May 28! (price hike iminent)
