Under the couch

DCM's may have followed this guy's construction in my blog on my Journey to Auscon (now conveniently located in the Blogs section here) and so have seen the initial pics of this guy, but I finally found the time to take some decent finished pics and upload them to the Under The Couch gallery.

So, this guy was my entry in the Auscon 'Wizards of Oz' painting competition, in the 'Scratchbuilt and Converted' category.

Scored me a lovely little bronze medallion.

I'm planning on repainting the base a little to match the rest of my Orks, and then maybe running him as a stand-in Wazdakka...

Great idea and figure, looks a bit too clean to be an ork though. More like an ork who just cleaned his equipment (unheard of) and took a bath (pure blasphemy).

Yeah, I had originally planned to add a lot more weathering, but just ran out of time. As it was, he was finished off the morning of the competition.

I too think the pogostick is awesome, but the best part for me is his face with the normal and the "insane" eye.If you cover his "insane eye" with your hand he looks like he is kinda sleepy and the other way round he looks like a madboy.Awesome!
