Hey, so I'm going off to college soon to Swarthmore, and I was wondering if anyone knows any good places to go for 40k around there, or players that are at the school.

Showcase comics at the GRM (granite run mall) is the best/largest place to play games in your area. You should be able to catch public transportation there if you don't have a car. The owner, Mike, is a GW player and regularly runs tournaments, and always has open tables for gaming. He is also a member of Dakka,

Seconding this. There's also their location in Bryn Mawr, but that's more of a hike for you - I'm going to school in Center City, so it's only a 20 minute train ride to Bryn Mawr for me, but about an hour-twenty to get to Granite Run, since I've got to try and catch a bus as well as the train. Both locations are simply fantastic, and Mike's a wonderful guy - incredibly easy to talk to, and a Dakka member to boot!

As a side note, this was where DakkaCon was held earlier this year, back in January. The gaming spaces are perfect for pretty much anything, so be sure to stop by - I know I'll be popping in occasionally over the summer to play at both locations, and if I can find the time during the school year I'll be heading there as often as I can. They've got awesome gaming communities.

Ouze on GW: "I'd like to be like, hey baby, you're a freak but you just got too much crazy going on, and I don't hook up with bunny boilers. But then Necrons are going to come out, and I'm going to be like damn girl, and then next thing you know, it's angry sex time again.

It's complicated."
