Redcap's Corner in Philadelphia, PA has started running a series of
casual, roughly monthly tournaments for 40k and Fantasy. Next
Saturday, June 4th, from noon to 8pm, will be 40k, so hopefully anyone
nearby will come compete!

Basics are $5 entry, 1850 pts. To be honest I'm not sure of the exact
rules/missions/etc, but it's not really that kind of event. It'll
probably be similar to the monthly leagues they were running last
year: Missions based off the standard ones w/ several victory
condition levels & battle points, gift cards to the top 3 splitting
the reg intake, no painting or comp restrictions/scoring, etc.

I believe July they'll run a similar Fantasy tournament, but don't
quote me on that.

As a side note, the store's been really working on its terrain
recently, and has built a nice storage space for it around some
basically dedicated miniatures tables on the first floor (moving out
of the slightly cramped loft).

I am not affiliated with the store in any way, but myself and a bunch
of guys from PAGE CC will be there and hope you'll join us!

Just wanted to plug that this was a really fun tournament. Some quick notes and photos are here:

Redcaps has come a long way with their physical space, terrain collection, etc., so if you haven't been by for a while, you should check out one of their 40k/Fantasy/Warmachine+Hordes events. I think next up for 40k there is 'Ard Boyz prelims in August.
