finally happy with the colour scheme for my heamonculus DE army, i chose the coven of twelve as the base of it and ive painted the first of many grotesques to represent there fluff. You should be able to notice the army symbols free handed on there arms...its the circle symbol with the twelve dashes around it.

Hope you like and remarks on how i could maybe improve on the tribal work on the armour feel free to let me know as this is the first time ive tried to do this sort of thing on such a large scale.

black undercoat with liche purple then badab black, then highlighted upo in grey tones until i got this...that about it, i might use a little dheneb stone next time.

I did not like that Paulson model when I saw it unpainted, but it looks incredible with your paintjob! I think, with kitbashing some of the GW grotesques with some of these models, a unit of 5 grotesques could look damn sweet!

i think so aswell im currently converting one to hold a tau battlesuit leg as a club and another fending off a Genesteler whilst shooting his liquifier gun. itll b awhile before i have them up painted though as im in the middle of painting up some more black templar for a couple of tournies in the next few weeks.

Looks very cool, the markings don't look tribal to me though, when i saw them i was thinking glowing arcane runes used in satanic rituals. I like!

yep that could work to, actually dark satanic glowing runes sounds heaps better.....thats what they are now.
