A couple of days ago I picked up a SoB cannoness from my FLGS and after deciding a paint scheme I painted her up.
I just need to finish the flames on the back pack. Next to her is a "Wolf" for my Fox Marines army painted in the fur pattern of a fox.



I tried to paint a shape on her cheek that resembled a fleur de lis as best I could, I think it turned out just fine.


Ugh didn't realize that the close up of the power sword was that bad, but here it is anyways.

Very cool,i like the cloak best.

The fleur de lis symbol ought to be black, to avoid people mistaking it for a battle scar (like I did!). Also, the dog; is it a wolf-fox-dog?

Good work so far anyway, and don't forget to base her as well!

Ahh, then a change to black would be a better choice, I'll do that tomorrow after I get some sleep. The Wolf, I suppose its a combo of that. I don't have the SoB glued to the base yet so I can slide the base off and get a really nice base made up. and Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't quite read the writing at the top properly! I see where the wolf/fox idea came from, it's really cool.

Nice stuff, I agree that the fleur should be black if you want it to show up well, but I like it better as just a burn scar on her cheek myself.

Awesome work, the sword and flames look immense.

I would have to say you've nailed the flames and subtle osl on the backpack, a very good job! really give sthe model some oomph!
