A group is starting a Mordheim campaign and I've decided to run a Cult of Possessed gang. I'm considering this list, but I'm a total noob.

Now, you may get different opinions on this, but I would drop the Henchies and then just spend the rest of your money on two Mutants.

Yeah, they suck now, but (depending on the legality of this in your gaming group), nothing is scarier than a Mutant with a Great Weapon, Light Armor, and two Sheilds. Just buy him two Extra Arms (EXPENSIVE!) and that equipment, and he will be a beast around level 5, if you roll lucky.

Also, going with Mutants means more dice for Search Rolls, meaning more loot, meaning it's easier to come back from a lost minion since instead of 4 dice for winning, you get 6.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.

From what I remember of playing with the possessed, don't the possessed models HAVE to take a mutation?

Tacticool always trumps tactics

Possessed don't HAVE to, but Mutants do HAVE to.

Looks good, some people swear by Tentacles, I personally don't care for them.

Ahh fair enough, been over a year since I played Mordheim with my mates. We've not touched it since the incident...

I always stuck a Great Claw and Scorpion Tail on my two possessed, the extra high STR attack was always lethal, especially with newbie gangs.
