This is the opening battle in a new campaign between Phell (from the CBT forums) and I. I am playing Clan Wolf and he is playing Davion mercenaries hired to garrison the world of Fort Loudon in the Lyran Alliance. We are using the simplified campaign rules explained in this thread:

It is 3069 and Khan Vlad Ward has ordered the 721st Wolf Hussars to jump from Lothan (in Clan Wolf space) to the Lyran world of Fort Loudon (just a single jump away) to take and hold that world to prevent Jade Falcon expansion towards Terra. The Davion mercs stationed on Fort Loudon are to be crushed.

The first skirmish (about 6500 BV each) between the mercs and Wolf Hussars takes place in the resort city of Red Sands:



The mercs include a Warhammer 6K (2/3 pilot), a Hunchback 5M (3/4), a Hatchetman 5S (3/4), and a Jenner 7D (3/4).



The mercs are led by Thomas Hawkins in his Warhammer (this 'Mech is known as a Tomahawk in Macross):



The Wolf Hussars include a Dire Wolf A (3/4 pilot), a Nova B (2/4), and two points of Aerie PA(L)BattleArmor. The BA begins the battle riding the OmniMechs:
