I am going to visit Charleston SC from July 1st through the 10th. I was seeing if there are any Warhammer 40k tournaments that I would be able to participate in the area during this time?

I don't know of anything state-wide or semi-pro, but in Columbia, SC, we have match-ups every Sunday, and once a month there are bush-league tourneys with $5 entry, $40 grand prize, and other smaller prizes for best painted or sportsmanship or whatever. The place usually caters about about 10-20 players every Sunday. PM me with some forewarning if you're going to be in the area so I can direct you to the FLGS.

We run tournaments on the last weekend of the month down in charleston. Ill see what i can do, i held the lastone may 28th. there will be one june 25th. Will see if i can get one for the 9th of july. We love having people from out of town come and play. We play 1850 btw. PM me and will get you some info on where we play.

Diesel, don't you mean Saturday or is there stuff going on on Sundays too?

Tourneys with those prizes are on Saturday, but a group I play with (4 to 8 people at any given time) is there almost every Sunday, and we're currently working on setting up our own league outside of Heroes & Dragons' influence. Mostly because we want more flexibility in times and army rosters, and we want trophies instead of gift certificates.
