Iron Warriors get first turn (
I should have gone second. hindsight is always crystal clear)
Its pretty uneventful as thier isnt a single ork on the table and its night time.
Orks roll on
Iron Warrior turn 2. Raptors arrive too early. I place them on my right flank. I move forward to fortify central objective. I think I am safe within my rhino armored personel carriers. (how wrong I am)
LR moves 6"and bounces a las cannon shot off a battle wagon.
Havoks shoot frag at a Loota squad, inflicting 5 wounds but they make all the cover saves.
Ork Turn 2. Ork fire from the lootas is dead on. Causing 4 penetrating hits on central rhino Exploding it. Nob Bikers move up to assault Khorne rhino and explode it.. battle wagon's boarding ramp explodes the last rhino.
Deffcopta outflanks and tears into my raptors.
this isnt looking good for the Iron Warriors
Iron Warrior turn 3. the Warsmith moves up and takes his unit of possessed pets with him to charge 2 battle wagons! they blow up one and fail to touch the other.
the berzerkers charge the Warboss and his bikers, excited by the prospect of glorious deaths.
The berzerkers suprize everyone by not only NOT dying. they win combat against the nobz and warboss! Praise Khorne!
ork turn 3. flame battle wagon moves into position and unleashes 15 burnas!!!.. inflicting 45 wounds on the
csm squad and 15 wounds on the terminators. the
csm are wiped out and a terminator dies. they break!!!
NO BEUNO!
On the upside the Khrone berzerkers pull a hat trick and not only manage to survive another round they manage to kill the Warboss and run down the Nob bikers!

IW turn 4. the terminators rally, but are in a useless position. there are no enemy infantry within 24". they move towards a battlwagon. The warsmith lost his possessed to the previous turns shooting and charges, but avenges them and moves towards a loota squad.
Ork turn 4. Calls a waagh. Moves 20 boyz into charge range of the remainder of the berzerker squad, moves the 15 burnaboyz to charge the Warsmith. lootas shoot at Warsmith and the havoks, 2 havoks die but they hold, the warsmith laughs at the doomed orks. the boyz easily wipe out the berzerkers, while the burna boyz are decimated by the warsmith, all of the burnas die in the assault phase.
turn 5. not much left on the table. if the game ends now its a draw. there is some minor moves and fire but nothing significant. ( oh. the warsmith charges the lootas and then promtly hits himself in the face with his Deamonweapon. )
ack. the orks move a deff coppta into contesting position for the objective. the
IW have nothing to contest the left one. if it ends here its an ork win! NOOOOO
turn 6. IWs kill the deff coppta, orks respond by moving the bigmeks battlewagon up a ramp ( we had decided that it was not impassable if the vechile could fit on it. the bwagon did not fit but I decided to let him move anyways). Orks dump out the big Mek within contestng range
Turn 7. the game didnt end. but the
IWs kill the Big Mek. Orks tankshock with the b-wagon,
IW with a meltagun death or glories.. promptly rolling death. game ends. with Battle wagon contesting.
Ork win.

After action report.
in all honesty, this list was hastily put together and not well thought out which resulted in numerous flaws. Lack of ranged fire, lack of
CC power. (only a single powerfist in the army). cutting down on the possessed and losing the icons of Tzeench would have freed up points for powerfists, and demonic possession of the Land Raider.
Taking into account the flaws in the list itself, I am surprized the
IWs did so well. Add in the errors made by me.. and I am surprized any
IWs were left on the table at all!. Dropping the terminators where I did was not a good idea, I had planned on reinforcing the berzerker squad agaisnt the Nob Bikers, who would have guess that 5 berzerkers would kill a Warboss, and 5 Nob bikers? I should have dropped the Terminarors behind the bikers, to threaten the far left objective/ loota squad aswell. Also placing the raptors where I did sounded like a good plan but I completely forgot about the outflanking deffcoptas. By not giving the raptor champ a power something, I basically just gave the squad away.
The Warsmith (Abaddon) was a beast in this battle, accounting for 43 ork models destroyed (a battle wagon, mob of 20 shootas, 15 burnas, 7 lootas). With out his slaughter I think it would have been a complete Iron Warrior rout.
I did not look at my opponents army list, and as a result was caught completly flat footed by 15 burnas shooting from a battle wagon. which had a HUGE impact on the center of the board. that unit roasted 385 points of my army in one go! Ouch!!
My opponent Warboss_Russ was a great guy and his army is beautifly painted filled with tons of conversions. Games are always better when you get to play against beautiful models.

Even after the game I am not sure what was in it. I'll let him post his army list if he chooses.
