Hey, Here are my notes of my chapter. Plan to flush it out a bit more and write out a nice little summery but was hoping to get some comments first.
Here it is!:
Sons of Ubik
Colors: blue, almost all are helmetless. The blue is meant to be like water which is weak to the touch yet can, with force, blow down a dam. Helmetless since each wish to have a strong sense of identity . Since most of the recurts are from the very revolution frenzied planet of Ubik, they hold a strong need for individuality. A few wear helmets but this is said to be used to hid

e some scars or facial mutation. These helmets are always very facial in appearance and custom made.
Planet: Ubik. Most of the planet is controlled by two empires, one is the tower of mages (new name later) which is a ruling class of high powered psykers, most of the members of the Sons of Ubik. The other world power is the tower of the warriors (New name later) which are a ruling group of pskyers who focus on the use of psychic powers as a weapon and mostly to perfect their fighting stance rather than to unleash fire and death. These two governments rule but don't do much save when large conflicts arise. They leave many of the cities to themselves and due to this a great deal of revolutions happen in small scales around the planet. This is used to create a strong body of possible space marines. The planet also creates a great deal of pskyers and due to this demonic activity is one of the leading threats on the planet.
Fighting style: The chapter is known for their heavy use of pskyers. Almost every marine is a pskyer and the squads are broken by the different forms of psker activity, some are more martial while others more destructive or defensive. Every squad has two destructive
SM from the tower of mages (psycannons), and then some combat specialists (normal
GK), and one commander who practices the art of psychic defense( leader). The chapter is very small, only having three companies and a scout company, due to the very particular recurting the chapter does and the watchful eye of the Inquisition. Due to this they usually fight alongside regiments from their homeworld who work in small special forces teams to provide fire support for the marines (melta-henchies, and/or
DCAs)
Other Facts: The chapter is rumored to be worshiping Malal. All forms of inquisitor investigation notices no signs of chaos. The chapter is noted to go after demons and chaos worshipers in particular but seem to have no signs of mutation or chaos infestation. The chapter does sport images of ghostly faces and creatures colored white and black but this is said to be the patron god of Ubik, which the planet is named after. The chapter keeps one company around its planet, while the other companies roam on crusades across the galaxy searching for chaos leaders named as targets by the head leaders of Ubik. The scout company along with PDF forces is kept as a police force for the very violent planet with a few heroic ones allowed to accompany crusading companies. These scouts would grow up to become full blown marines...if they lived.
known heroes: Captain Runciter of 2nd Company (Company I will be modeling with truescale marines soon)
Librarian Molipone of the 2nd company
ANy feedback suggestions. Sorry for any misspellings, can't spell when im this tired. I am trying to vaguely follow a book very very very lightly, plan on having quotes from the book on their armor, and use some of the names but that is about it. Can anyone guess what the book is called?
thanks all for the help!
