How was he? I plan on getting one to compliment my custom-converted Ghazzy, and for only 3 bucks more, it seems like a steal compared to the other price hikes.

It was so much better than painting metal! Went together so easily, no pinning required (tho I left the jaw, arms and horns off till it was finished). Lots of detail, a really great model... Hope I did it justice!

I really like the unusual red paint scheme, but I think he needs some battle-damage on the armour to look properly like an ork in mega-armour.

Thanks for the comments! As far as battle damage goes, I'm still not confident that I won't make a decent paint job look like a decent paint job covered in silver splodges..! It's something I should try, but it'll have to start on RnF models rather than characters...

You could always drybrush Boltgun Metal on in places. Works for me. Sort of highlight the edges in silver and then scuff up the rest with drybrushing.
