There were 20 Primarchs. 2 Were lost (One or both supposedly killed by Russ and his legion) of the remaining 18, 9 turned against the Emperor and 9 stayed loyal. the Loyal ones mainly either died or disappeared. The traitors fled to the Eye and have largely been there ever since.

The Dark Angels were a legion and subsequently a second founding chapter after the legions were broken down. Their primarch was Lion 'El Johnson.

Each chapter uses the gene-seed of a primarch, the largest in use is Guilliman's gene-seed and the least in use is Russ' gene-seed (Due to genetic instability)

The Dark Angels use The Lion's Gene-seed.
Any other chapter using his gene-seed is known as a Dark Angels successor chapter.

You said he was part of the Dark Angels legion and said nothing about him being one of the 2 missing primarchs.

Not really...
If you want this to fit with established background then you cannot make up a primarch.
Similarly i have never seen anyone use the lost primarch thing well since they are almost always Mary Sue.
The most anyone will do is the "Unknown primarch and founding" line and go with that.
If you don't care about the background then you can just do what you like and not really care about what i or anyone else thinks.

Though a small note...
Unless Titus Lion's Bane is dead, change the Emperor of Mankind to somone else... the chapter master previous to him maybe who died soon after making Titus the Chapter Master?
Chapters were created after the Emperor was on the throne and the only indivdual still alive from that time is Bjorn the fell-handed who is in a dreadnought. CSM and the 13th company are in the Warp and don't really count since time is messed up by the Warp.
