Reports are filtering in that Blood Angel units engaged a 'posse' of Imperials and Grey Knights
under orders of xenophobe Commissar Andrewsky to 'detain' the followers of Sanguinius for
allegedly holding a parlay with Eldar emissaries. It became apparent that Astorath The Grim
was in the Blood Angel detachment. Campod pics released by the Ministorium Informatis show
a battle of considerable ferocity. What follows may be unsuitable for persons with weak hearts
or a history of fainting. Viewer discretion is advised. Do not operate heavy machinery when reading this.

Armored units of Commissar Andrewsky move up to the highway junction where the Blood Angels had last been sighted.

Grey Knights take up blocking positions.

The Commissar took up a position on their right flank supporting a Mantacore unit.

Blood Angel armor and infantry move up

The Death Company move forward on the left, becoming enraged upon seeing the Commissar himself.
Astorath had taken an oath that the unwarranted accusations on the honor of the Chapter would be
avenged. Now appeared to be the time.

Commissar Andrewsky calls up a Grey Knight Dreadnaught for support, bracing for the inevitable assault.

The assault begins as the Death Company rockets forward.

Blood Angels are reknowned for their skill in aerial assaults as was demonstrated here. The Death Company executes
a flawless Immelmann flip and lands squarely in the Commissar's lair.

The Black Rage was unstoppable. The Guard was decimated and the Commissar was carried from the field with severe wounds.

But the battle was far from over. The Death Company was now posing a serious threat to the Imperial right. Grey Night
Librarian Michaelo took over field command and ordered forward a Space Wolf contingent of the Purple Reign.

And things were just starting to heat up in the center.

Reports are still coming in, so stay tuned for the result of this all out fight.

You know this is a really interesting way to go about giving a battle report. In some ways its more interesting than just reading a battle report and seeing what happens during each turn only once and that's it. I can't wait for the rest. It would be interesting if you did it in video format next time or something.
