So the old lady's CWC army is an ex-soviet bloc nation, and thanks to QRF and Peter Pig, she's built up quite quickly. But we're having trouble locating a Mil Mi-8 for her to use as a transport heli. I bought one from QRF, but the poor old mold seems to have seen better days. A -lot- of distortions, spackling, and air bubbles.

Anyone know of a model kit in 1/100, or an alternate producer for a 15mm Mi-8?

QRF have a couple versions:

Geoff at QRF is a good guy to deal with.

EDIT: Sorry for being a schmuck. I read your last sentence, but missed where you already tried the QRF ones... I'll try not to do that any more!

I know Geoff has switched resin in the last couple of years, maybe contact him and see if he has redone the HIPs?

I doubt he's switched it in the last month I haven't even painted the Hip I got from him. I need to patch a bunch of air pockets first.

On a side note, I was asking him if he had any plans for moderns with Carl G's and apparently he's got both Americans in helmets and in Ranger caps slated. So if anyone (Like me!) is looking for some Carl Gustavs for a US Ranger, Canadian, Swedish, Belgian, or other force then you'll be in luck (hopefully) before the year is out.
