I'm thinking of getting into the warhammer 40k hobby. One thing that interests me is the conversions that are possible. I will initially be collecting space marines and orks, and later collect tyranids and more space marine divisions (space wolves, black templar, grey knights and blood angels) I hope to have a MAXIMUM of 200 figures on each team. One thought that occurred to me for a conversion was ORK MARINES. Orks in looted space marine gear (but of course red with a bit of ork flair) It would be an elite force, and it would be good to have about 15-30 for my ork army. So I want to hear your thoughts on this idea, and it would be great if anyone would post a pic of what a ORK MARINE would look like

2nd this belongs in painting and modelling
3rd it would be better to put orks in termy armour because power armour might me to small for a boy

Well, I'm not sure how familiar you are with the ork codex, but we have meganobs. Rules-wise the mega-armor is similar to terminator armor, so just put ork heads on terminator armor. You might notice that they look slightly off, however, this being due to the fact that orks are hunched over and marines are not.
Also, I'm sure you can find plenty of deffwing-themed armies out there. It's a list I see bashed around *slightly* often.

I Think I'll use a mix. Like use termy shoulderpads and termy boots, but with a nobs body.
